Landscape Turfing

One of our most popular requests is for turfing.

Only the finest quality turf is used, which is of a consistent grade.

This photograph shows a rear garden being turf to a new property.

As you can see the ground has already been levelled and raked ready to take the turf.

Turf is then laid off battens to compact the turf so that it gets a good start.

The turf is then watered thoroughly and is usually ready to use within 2-3 weeks.

Here is a photograph of a large expanse of turf we laid in Bradford.

As you can see the turf has established itself and looks in excellent condition.

To achieve this finish, the turf must be watered throroughly during dry conditions and must not be walked or driven on until fully rooted into the topsoil.
